Purpose
This Code of Practice sets out the principles and standards that all staff, contractors, and clinical practitioners associated with Nobel Medical and its platforms are expected to follow. It exists to ensure patient safety, clinical integrity, and public trust in every interaction.
Clinical Independence
All clinical decisions are made by GMC-registered doctors exercising their own independent professional judgement. Clinical outcomes are never influenced by commercial considerations, internal targets, or patient expectations. If a certificate or letter cannot be issued on clinical grounds, the request is declined and the patient receives a full refund.
Standards That Protect Patients
Our code exists to ensure every interaction upholds the same clinical and ethical standards patients expect from face-to-face consultations.
Patient-Centred Care
Patients are at the centre of everything we do. All interactions should be conducted with compassion, respect, and professionalism. Patients have the right to:
- Be treated with dignity and respect regardless of background, beliefs, or circumstances
- Receive a clear explanation of the service, process, and likely outcomes
- Have their personal and medical information kept confidential and secure
- Receive a full refund if their request cannot be fulfilled on clinical grounds
- Raise complaints or provide feedback without fear of disadvantage
Honesty & Transparency
Nobel Medical is committed to honesty in all communications. Marketing materials, website content, and patient communications must accurately represent the service, its limitations, and the qualifications of the doctors involved. No misleading claims will be made about the nature or scope of the service.
Data Protection
All personal and medical data is handled in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Data is only collected for legitimate purposes, stored securely, and retained only for as long as necessary. Our full data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.
Professional Conduct
All staff and clinical practitioners must:
- Act within their competence and scope of practice
- Maintain appropriate professional registration and indemnity
- Report any concerns about patient safety or professional conduct
- Participate in continuing professional development
- Follow documented standard operating procedures
- Declare and manage any conflicts of interest
Complaints & Feedback
We welcome and encourage feedback from patients and partners. All complaints are taken seriously, logged, investigated, and responded to within a reasonable timeframe. Patterns identified through feedback are used to improve service quality.
To raise a complaint or provide feedback, please contact us at support@nobelmedical.co.uk or visit our Contact page.
