Clinical Oversight Framework

Nobel Medical operates a structured clinical governance framework to ensure all medical services delivered through its platforms meet recognised UK standards. Clinical governance is maintained through documented standard operating procedures, regular case review, and direct oversight by the Medical Director.

Dr Maria Knobel (GMC 7495073) serves as Medical Director and provides clinical oversight for the MedicalCert platform. Her registration can be verified via the official GMC register.

Clinical governance and medical oversight

Every Decision, Independently Made

No automated approvals. No commercial influence on clinical outcomes. Every certificate request is assessed on its own merits by a named, registered doctor.

Independent Clinical Judgement

MedicalCert does not provide automated approvals. Each request is assessed individually based on the information provided, recognised medical standards, and accepted clinical practice.

Clinical decisions cannot be influenced by commercial outcome. Where a GP determines there is insufficient clinical basis for documentation, it will not be provided and a full refund is issued automatically.

Important: All documentation reflects the doctor's medical opinion at the time of review. Final acceptance is determined by the relevant organisation (such as an employer, airline, housing provider, insurer, or sporting authority), which may apply its own policies and requirements.

Doctor Standards

All doctors providing clinical services through Nobel Medical platforms must meet the following requirements:

Clinical Review Process

Every consultation follows a structured clinical review process:

  1. Confidential Submission — The patient completes a secure online form outlining their medical history, symptoms, and the purpose of their request. This information is sent directly to an independent GMC-registered GP.
  2. Independent Clinical Evaluation — The independent GP reviews the information provided, considering current symptoms, functional impact, stability of any existing conditions, and whether documentation is medically justified at that time.
  3. Issuance Where Appropriate — If the GP determines the request is clinically appropriate, a signed medical certificate or letter is issued. Where the GP determines there is insufficient clinical basis, documentation will not be provided and the patient receives a full refund.

Data Protection & Confidentiality

Patient data is handled in full compliance with UK GDPR requirements. All consultations follow NHS and UK medical guidelines for data handling and confidentiality. Personal medical information is stored securely and only accessed by authorised clinical staff for the purpose of providing medical services.

Complaints & Incident Reporting

Nobel Medical maintains structured procedures for handling clinical complaints and incident reporting. All complaints are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner. Patterns or trends identified through complaints are used to improve service quality and patient safety.
